Premiere Classe
are an
Edinburgh based language
services company.
We
have started organising French workshop for children and their parents, learning little songs and nursery rhymes, to help develop a sense of the language through play and physical activity.
Our first assignment was to take part in the Parents Like Us Festival in Leith on Saturday 12 May 2007. This project was entirely voluntary, and I enlisted the help of a few friends who helped out with the performance...
The premise of the show was the presence of Loulou the French Wolf, hidden in the audience - eating up those who do not speak French. He however turns out to be a big softie once we all start singing in French, some "comptines", such as 1, 2, 3, nous irons au bois or Savez-vous planter les choux.
